Melissa & Ryan
Ryan and Mel have been together 3 years this New Years (2013). Mel had decided to spend New Years very quietly but after a few months of dating Ryan, she had invited him to join her boring evening and when he showed up, she opened the door and he walked right into the house and kissed her.
Ryan’s proposal was a whole day event. It started off with Mel’s favorite breakfast and a day at the Nordic Spa. They both had never been and he thought they were in need of a “date day” After the spa, he took her home. He mentioned their date night would end with dinner and had reservations so Mel decided to take a shower and get all dolled up. When Mel got out of the shower, of their brand new house, everything was pitch black except for candles lit all down their staircase. He called Mel downstairs, and as she turned down the staircase he was waiting for her at the bottom with a huge smile, yet nervous look on his face and he proposed 🙂 He finished off the night at The Keg and when they got home, Mel rounded the kicthen only to find their families there to surprise her and lastly he made her an amazing slideshow of our adventures together. I’d say he’s a “Keeper”
Mel & Ryan’s wedding was perfect in so many ways. Getting ready at two beautiful country family homes, surrounded by gorgeous grounds & stunning front porches. Mel & Ryan decided to do a “First Look” prior to their ceremony to get the majority of the photos completed. This is a great way for couples to share some intimate moments and get to their guests sooner. After the photos we headed to a beautiful church in Kanata, followed up the reception at The Lone Star Ranch. Everything just blended together from the country landscapes while getting ready, to a ranch to enjoy dinner/party with friends & family.
Congratulations again to Melissa & Ryan! I wish you a life filled with love and laughter

“In a few words, I would describe my wedding as “Country Glam”. I LOVE the country/rustic feel but I also love glitters/sparkles so I’ve chosen the Country glam theme. Our wedding colors are Midnight Blue (blue is our favourite colour), Sparkly Gold with a touch of Blush. I found those colors to look fantastic together and look great in our rustic venue”
