Kate & Luciano Married In Rockport

Well, If you haven’t been to Rockport, you need to go; It’s so DARN CUTE! All these small towns I’ve had a pleasure of shooting weddings in, has been a dream this season. The adorable church built in 1891, which Kate & Luciano got married in, sits on a little hill overlooking the St.Lawrence. You literally look out the doors of the church & see waterfront, it’s so pretty. Kate & Luciano found me online, while looking for an Ontario photographer, while planning their wedding from their home in Alberta.  After our FaceTime meeting, they booked me to photograph 3hrs of their wedding day. They were only looking for the family, wedding party & couple formals, for their wedding gallery. The great thing is, I arrived a bit early & was able to sneak into the church for a few pics. I’m so grateful for getting them coming back up the aisle.

Kate’s, Maggie Sottero dress is so beautiful, you honestly can’t go wrong with this dress designer. And just wait till you see the bouquets Colonial Flowers created, for all the ladies, STUNNING!

Congratulations to Kate & Luciano

How did you get engaged? Love this story, I had to included it.

Our story as told by Katie: “He took me to Jasper National Park, which is where we went when we first got together. We were kayaking on Lake Edith near shore when he pointed in the water and said “what’s that, I think I see something”. I didn’t see anything and he wasn’t pointing at anything specifically. I asked what he saw and where, when suddenly he jumped from the kayak into the water. He ducked under the water and came up holding my ring. Cute set-up Luci! My favourite part is that the water was much deeper than he expected – about chest deep – but he committed to the plan even though he had to stick his head under glacier water.”

St. Brendan’s Catholic Church

A church with a few

Family  should always be fun, as well as formal.

There’s a little trail beside the church, which leads to a forest. This was a must, for a few pictures.
