I’ve almost reached 100 weddings & I have to say, this one was one of my favs! Wow, what a fun, high energy & easy going group of people. This was the first wedding I’ve been to, where the whole wedding party danced back up the aisle 🙂 You have to see these fun photographs. They also danced into the reception & played numerous amounts of games. Not one dull moment, all day or night!
We began the day photographing the guys at an Air B&B. I took some great shots of the guys getting ready & just hanging out on the front step. Afterwards, I headed to the ladies at another Air B&B in the market, just minutes away from the guys. One of my favourite parts of the day, are the First Looks. Gen & James had a lovely “First Look” on the terrace of the Chateau Laurier, however the girls had one as well, on the patio of the condo. We capture some sweet moments of Gen’s girls, seeing her for the first time.
After all the formal photos were completed, we head to the National Art Gallery, for the ceremony. If you have haven’t had a chance to visit the new Lantern Room at the NAC, you should. It’s absolutely stunning inside & the natural light, is endless. The ceremony was so sweet & fun to capture. The room was filled with so much love & great energy. Once the ceremony was completed & family formals, we heads to the Army Officers Mess for the reception. Gen & James’s entrance was AWESOME! James’s picking her up and carrying her to the head table (too cute) Speeches, games & singing entertained the guests during dinner. I can just image how fun the dance floor must of been. I ended up finishing, just before the First Dance.
Congratulations Gen & James! Thank you for asking me to capture, your AMAZING wedding day!
Me: “James would you mind, going on the same side as Gen?”
James: “Sure, no problem!” LOL
