Last October I had the pleasure of photographing a dear friends wedding at Le Belvedere. It was beautiful during that time of year as well. I remember thinking, it must be stunning in the summer! When Yip & Adan asked me to capture their July wedding a few months after my girlfriends wedding, I was ecstatic. Not only was I going to photograph the sweetest people on their special day, I was going to see Le Belvedere in a completely different season. If you’re planning a wedding at this location, the season truly doesn’t matter, it’s always beautiful!
Yip and Adan really followed their hearts while planning their wedding day timeline. They wanted 6hrs of coverage, 2 photographers and a gallery filled with their friends, family and the two of them together. Coming away from the traditional “First Looks”, Getting Ready Photos & Details, I spent a lot of time photographing the couple with their guests, the guests mingling, portraits of couples, family shots and large groups. When you’re planning your timeline, make it about what’s important to the both of you. Make a list and discuss it with your photographer to ensure what matters to you both, is the main focus. For Yip & Adan, they wanted 1hr spent with family. Normally, family formals are 30mins, but If you’d rather spend more time in this area of your timeline, that’s up to you. Make your timeline about your wedding day, don’t worry about what the norms are.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
